Our community has lost three legends this year who were instrumental in the second-stage development of Naples: Bubba Frank, Sheriff Aubrey Rogers and now Ben Parks, who passed away March 24, 2010.

As the director of Naples Backyard History, Ms. Bolin knows well the importance of place in the development of both individual and community character. NBYH is the educational arm of Naples Cultural Landscape, a fund of the Community Foundation of Collier County,
